Three women held a topless protest on a beach in Argentina after being told to cover up by police.
The women had been sunbathing on Necochea, near Buenos Aires, when they were approached by officers who had received a complaint from a member of the public.
However, determined that they were doing nothing wrong, the women decided to fight back, eventually leading to an argument involving more than 20 officers and other people on the beach.
In footage of the incident, some appear to back the women, arguing that people wearing thongs are not being threatened with arrest.
However, one officer attempts to explain it is a conservative area where going topless is still deemed inappropriate.

‘A police officer apparently told them to put their breasts away as people were fed up seeing them. They were also told to go away and find a proper nudist beach.’
Eventually the women agree to move away but only when police threaten to put them in handcuffs.
