Fashion Faceoff: Rita Ora and Jaimie Alexander Bare (Almost) All in Similar Looks-Raechal Leone Shewfelt

Two bold beauties caused a stir when they sported a sexy black-and-sheer number at separate red carpet events.
Singer Rita Ora chose the look for her third and final racy outfit at the 2014 MTV VMAs in Los Angeles on Sunday. Thor star Jaimie Alexander sported the daring dress when she attended the November 2013 premiere of the sequel to her superhero movie in L.A.

What they wore: Ora, 23, rocked a skin-baring ensemble that appeared be partially business up top, thanks to a black-and-white jacket with lots of nude sheer paneling in the middle that continued down her leg. Alexander showed a lot of skin, too, although the paneling was slightly darker on her Azzaro gown. In fact, the 30-year-old Thor actress flashed so much flesh that she later revealed she was surprised by all the reaction it received. "You know, I am embarrassed to say it, but I think I was a little bit naïve," Alexander told Yahoo in June of her decision to wear the headline-making frock. "I had no idea it would get that much press. I swear on my life, I had no idea."

How they styled it: Ora's sheer ensemble was part of an edgy look she finished off with a multicolored clutch, pair of heels, hot pink lipstick, and her usual face-framing bleach-blond 'do. Her competition classed the gown up with a swept-back hairstyle, long silver earrings, and pointy pumps.
Judge's scorecard: If Ora was looking to steal the spotlight, she nailed it with this getup. However, she was showing so much skin that it was a little tacky. Alexander, who was elegant everywhere except for the cutouts, was just as bad. Though you can't see the back of Jaimie's gown, it also featured sheer cutouts and left very little to the imagination. As a result, both women tie... for second place.
